The art exhibition center “Art-Donbass” presents an icon exhibition of Orthodox Art of the 15th - 21st centuries from the private collections of Ukraine.

 A wide range of icon-painting school will be presented at the exhibition. The most ancient work is an icon of St. Nicholas made in Zaozerye (Russia) in the end of 15th century by master of the Dionisius circle. The spice of the exhibition is the part of the church icon-screen under the date of the end of 16th century made by an unknown master of Moscow and Stroganov circle. It was salvaged and kept by Oleg Zdanowich and Gleb Gusakov. Visitors will have the opportunity to see the Orthodox Art of Northwest Russia, Moscow, Palekh icon painting and other famous pre-revolutionary icon painting centers as well as modern icons.
